Dance-Worx's is renowned for its specialist teaching, each lesson follows a teaching plans over seen by our Principal for the entire school so that we can meet the needs of all of our students.


Are teachers are fully insured, DBS check and trained/qualified in Dance & Gymnastics Teachers as well as First Aid trained

Ms Katie -Owner/Principal


Katie started dancing at the age of 3 and began her professional career at the age of 13. She attended a 3 year performing arts course at the Centre and since graduating in 2005 has performed in various different productions and projects for both stage and television. After gaining her teaching qualifications in Tap, Ballet and Jazz as well as an intermediate gymnastics teaching qualifications she has been teaching for the past 10 years.

Katie teaches a variety of classes of all grades as well as teaching qualifications via the UKA!

Ms Charlotte - Assistant Principal & Teacher

Charlotte has been dancing since the age of 9 and joined a professional dance school at the age of 13, taking classes in ballet, jazz and modern, Charlotte took a two year course in musical theatre and graduated with an Distinction*. After secondary school Charlotte began a two year dance course and drama course at A level and graduated with a B and an A. Charlotte graduated from the University of Greenwich In October 2014 with a 2:1 BA Honours in Drama

At the age of 17 Charlotte began private dance lessons with Miss Katie in tap and ballet and is now studying for her teachers qualifications in Dance.


Charlotte has performed at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford, performed at many school dance shows, been involved in dance shows put on to raise money for endangered animals, taught ballet lessons for boys, been involved in a BBC children's show on how to make puppets, performed at the Greenwich theatre, helped put on a show at the Young Peoples Lewisham and Greenwich Theatre.

Ms Chelsie - Teacher
Chelsie found her passion for dancing at the age of 3 when she started her RAD Ballet syllabus. She then went on to perform in many different shows at The Orchard Theatre, The Churchill Theatre and Sadlers Wells. After secondary school Chelsie then went on to a performing arts college, The Miskin Theatre where she performed many shows and learnt a variety of dance styles.

After 2 years of training she finished college with a Level 3 Diploma in Dance. Chelsie then went on to Deborah Day's Teaching college to become a qualified ISTD Modern teacher. After, Chelsie became a part of the DanceWorxs team! She recently passed her teachers tap exam with DanceWorxs, and intends to do many more teaching exams to be the best possible
teacher she can be. Chelsie loves the thought of inspiring children to be great dancers and to also have fun in all classes.




Please note classes start back the week commencing 16th September 2019

(La Fontaine Academy classes start back the week commencing 9th September)
