Katie Collins - Owner/Principal
Katie started dancing at the age of 3 and began her professional career at the age of 13. She attended a 3 year performing arts course at the Centre and since graduating in 2005 has performed in various different productions and projects for both stage and television. After gaining her teaching qualifications in Tap, Ballet and Jazz as well as an intermediate gymnastics teaching qualifications she has been teaching for the past 8years.
Katie teaches our Theatre School classes at Dance-Worx's as well as gymnastics and street jazz at various different schools.

Ms Charlotte - PPA/Musical Theatre/Drama/Dance & Gymnastics Teacher and Assistant Principal
Charlotte has been dancing since the age of 9 and joined a professional dance school at the age of 13, taking classes in ballet, jazz and modern, Charlotte took a two year course in musical
theatre and graduated with an Distinction*. After secondary school Charlotte began a two year dance course and drama course at A level and graduated with a B and an A. Charlotte graduated from
the University of Greenwich In October 2014 with a 2:1 BA Honours in Drama
At the age of 17 Charlotte began private dance lessons with Miss Katie in tap and ballet and is now studying for her teachers qualifications in Dance.
Charlotte has performed at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford, performed at many school dance shows, been involved in dance shows put on to raise money for endangered animals, taught ballet lessons for boys, been involved in a BBC children's show on how to make puppets, performed at the Greenwich theatre, helped put on a show at the Young Peoples Lewisham and Greenwich Theatre and has recently become a certified chaperone.
Ms Chelsie - Dance/Drama & Musical Theatre Teacher
Chelsie found her passion for dancing at the age of 3 when she started her RAD Ballet syllabus. She then went on to perform in many different shows at The Orchard Theatre, The Churchill Theatre and Sadlers Wells. After secondary school Chelsie then went on to a performing arts college, The Miskin Theatre where she performed many shows and learnt a variety of dance styles.
After 2 years of training she finished college with a Level 3 Diploma in Dance. Chelsie then went on to Deborah Day's Teaching college to become a qualified ISTD Modern teacher. After, Chelsie became a part of the DanceWorxs team! She recently passed her teachers tap exam with DanceWorxs, and intends to do many more teaching exams to be the best possible
teacher she can be. Chelsie loves the thought of inspiring children to be great dancers and to also have fun in all classes.
Ms Melissa PPA/Dance/Drama & Gymnastics Teacher
Melissa trained at KSA Academy of Performing Arts, graduating with the ATCL Diploma in Musical Theatre. As a youth, she was a competitive dancer with major successes including ISTD National Set Dance Champion and ISTD Rock and Roll Champion. Melissa has been teaching dance for nearly 10 years covering styles from ballet to disco freestyle with organisations such as ISTD, UTD and Street Dance International.
As a musical theatre performer, Melissa's credits include the 2015 tour of S4K's A Midsummer Night's Dream (UK and International tour) Willy Wonka The Musical (Centrepoint Theatre, Dubai) and The Sixties Show (UK Theatre tour).
Her dance credits include Main Dancer in C'mon Everybody - The Musical feature film trailer and she is a regular Principal Dancer at Miss Chief Variety Cabaret. As a dancer she has appeared in corporate bookings all over London and the South East. Her choreography has featured at Her Majesty's Theatre, London, Sadler's Wells, London, Disneyland Paris and many UK Theatres.
Teaching allows Melissa to pass on her enthusiasm for performing and with her positive attitude hopes to turn every one of our pupils into a confident dancer.
